Welcome to Brave New World: the Tarzan character fanlisting, dedicated to the WB version of the character as played by Australian actor/model, Travis Fimmel.

Whereas most versions of Tarzan center around him in the jungles of Africa, the WB show brings him to the jungles of New York City.

Two decades ago, young John Clayton Jr was believed to be dead when the plane carrying him and his parents crashed in the African jungle. He grew up among apes and other wild animals, and became the fearless Tarzan.

Captured by his billionaire uncle, Richard Clayton, the CEO of powerful Greystoke Industries, Tarzan is returned, against his will, to his family's home in New York City.

More than just an unusual family drama, Tarzan is also a unique crime-drama show, as each episode finds John helping strong-willed NYPD detective Jane Porter solve crimes using his seemingly eccentric jungle tactics.
